Drumlanrig Root Rats Coaching Monday 2nd August

Root Rats coaching is on again this Monday for both age groups.  As usual, the Yoofs start at 1900 and the Sprogs at 1715.  This is your last chance to get in some practice before our Dirt Crit race on Thursday.

Drumlanrig Root Rats Coaching Monday 26th July

Root Rats coaching is on this Monday for both groups again this week.  Coaching for Sprogs starts at 1715 and finishes at 1830, and coaching for Yoofs will run from 1900 to 2030.  Please turn up in plenty of time.

The next race in tbe South of Scotland Youth MTB series is the Drumlanrig Dirt Crit on the 6th August and this week's Yoofs session will concentrate on riding the course that will be used in the race.  More details of the race will be made available soon.

Drumlanrig Root Rats Coaching 12th July

Coaching is on this Monday for the Sprogs group starting at 1715.  Please aim to be there for 1700 to allow time to get bikes and stuff sorted.  The session will end as normal at 1830.  Please note that the Yoofs coaching will resume on Monday 26th July.

The next round of the series is at Drumlanrig on the 5th August.  The arrangements will be very similar to previous races and full details will be available soon. 

By the way, the Tour de France enters the Alps tomorrow.  The highlights are broadcast each evening on ITV4 so why not take the time to catch up with the action on TV.  It should be good.

Drumlanrig Root Rats Coaching - Summer 2010

Please read this message carefully.

Drumlanrig Root Rats coaching is changing to Monday nights from next week for the U12 group.  Sprogs (U12) coaching will continue from Monday 5th July with session time 1715 to 1830.  Please aim to get to the Castle for 1700 to allow time to sort our bikes etc.  

The Yoofs (U16) sessions are also changing to Monday nights, but due to a lack of coaching resource, our next Yoofs session will take place on Monday 26th July from 1900.  Many thanks to everyone for responding on the question of making this change.  This means that we will be able to welcome Alan Denman as a regular member of our coaching team.

Well done to everyone who took part in the Dirt Crit at Ae Forest on Thursday.  Once again, there were some fantastic results.  The next race is at Drumlanrig on Thursday the 5th August.  The results will be out soon.

Our thoughts have been with Ewan Clark, our fantastic Level 2 coach and TCL, since his accident and two of his race team mates, Cameron and Graeme Scott, have decided to raise some money to help Ewan on his road to recovery.  As a part of this, Cameron and Graeme are looking for people to sponsor them on a ride of the whole of the 7 Stanes.  This will be  a big acheivement.  Please get in touch directly, by reply to this note or at the Bike Shed if you would like to sponsor them.
